We both ordered the lamb shank and it was delicious (and available gluten-free . The vegetables that came with it were not over cooked and were great. We had a chocolate brownie for desert (also gluten-free and their signature Bailey’s slush drink….both were fantastic! Our only complaint is that it is very noisy (it’s a bar! , so not the place for a quiet dinner with your partner.
Great understanding of what Coeliac Disease is. Had the Bangers and Mash. Absolutely awesome. Not their fault but wish there was a GF Kilkenny or Guinness. The Bulmers Cider did the trick though.
This is not the best in Marlborough, its the best in NZ. On a side street, in the finest Irish pub tradition, is a wee bar that is like stepping back in time. The interior decor is classic and dated through clever use of painting and 'Nik naks ' and a wonderful collection of pics. The food is great, the staff attentive and the atmosphere is amazing. And to top it off there is a very strong hint of Irish in the air. When in Picton make sure you visit.
Popped in for a meal , the staff were super friendly. Had a Guinness beef pot for dinner , Wow so tasty , starters had the Olives mixed with garlic and that was yum . Washed it down with a Killkenny . Great atmosphere real old pub feel , Great food and real value for money .
