Schlosswirt Staufeneck - Piding

Confusing communication on arrival on the availability without reservation, slow service (one hour waiting for our food). Good food, big piece of meat, not a lot aside though. Quite expensive.

There was no English menu or staff didn’t really speak English. But we had nice authentic dinner. Service was really friendly and food was good.

Wonderful authentic dinner and relaxed environment. There was a play area for children, and parking in the front. Make sure to reserve a table in advance!

Great restaurant with selected regional specialties. It is worth visiting the castle owner for the dumplings alone. Inside rustic and cozy, generous beer garden in front of the house. Parking sufficient also to find directly at the house. Service friendly and attentive, on request there is explanation of the map and recommendations of day menu. We like to come back

The food was absolute top class. Starting from the mixed salad, over the band noodles with pifferlings to the dessert dumplings, fresh ingredients and super seasoned. For vegetarians there are many different dishes to choose from, strikingly many for a restaurant with Bavarian cuisine. The food has its price, but it was worth every cent for me. I'd rather pay a little more and get quality. The service was also more than attentive. Very recommended place.
