Al Otro Lado - Pielagos

A really great place to hang out for a few drinks. We were here for most of the day, the decor is very comfortable and the music is perfect. Shame to see the other reviews, as our server was the best we have seen on our whole trip exploring northern Spain's restaurants, attentive, friendly and accommodating to vegetarian requests. A rare and pleasant change! The menu del dia was delicious, some of the best fish of the trip. Topped off with local craft beers on tap and a great ocean view! Highly recommended

Location amazing, and so made the mistake of ordering food....almost killed us both.. I had just a tortilla, friend a pizza slice. Few hours later......my friend wakes up from his siesta in a pool of diarrea, I was spared that, but hit me an hour later, we then both spent the next 24 hours, well, probably the public doesn’t want to hear the details but I’m sure you can imagine.. On telling people, I was sadly met with repeated laughter and a “you seriously ordered food THERE!!!!!” Apparently our experience was not unique, the place is renowned for poisoning people. I hear the kitchen is like something from a horror movie.. What can I say, people will always get drinks as the location is unbeatable, just don’t touch the food, unless you want to loose weight quick and don’t mind spending a few days sitting on a volcano..

Prices are not shown...for the ice creams. We paid €8 for 2 ice creams. We were told the price was because the ice creams were the “special ones” We are going to go back and raise a complaint. Won’t be going there anymore.

El sitio esta bien situado y desde la terraza exterior hay preciosas vistas de la playa de canallave. La comida esta buena. Nos ha parecido un poco caro. Y no hay servicio de terraza. Lo pides dentro y lo sacas fuera todo. El hombre que atiende en barra muy simpatico y eficiente pero esta solo.
