We enjoyed our lunch here. The staff were friendly and very supportive of my attempts at speaking Italian. It had a bustling, friendly atmosphere. The food wasn’t especially cheap, but nor was it overly expensive in our experience of 3 weeks in Italy. I would go here for lunch again. An espresso was €1.5, which is always our measure of value. Outdoor tables with small children. We had lunch all the time in the cold but it would have been fine if it hadn 't been that 5 minutes before leaving the table, a friend of the owner who had booked in our place arrives and for their convenience they turn on the heaters to keep them warm. Obviously small children did not deserve the same treatment as Mr. Gianluca . Having pointed this out, a sorry we didn 't think about it would have been enough, instead of receiving truly unprofessional treatment. The environment is nice, a little crowded and lively, the tables are small, especially for the dishes offered. The service is unfriendly, and getting the waitresses' attention is difficult, and they are also poorly trained in the food served. The ordered dish itself was not as described (mixed platter with two simple pieces of pecorino) and the quality in the cured meats and preparation was lacking, in fact the thick slices of ham and the pecorino with the crust contributed to making the experience worse. When asked for more suitable cutlery, the waitress almost laughed at us. The owner, on the contrary, proved to be attentive and prepared, taking care of our experience. Being low season, many restaurants were closed and we opted for this place, apparently not pretentious, with a rather simple menu outside... but the prices were not indicated. Bad choice.
