Chef Akbar - Pierrefonds

This small Indian restaurant, where you can bring your own wine, is run by a charming couple and is located in the west end of Pierrefonds.

I tried the delivery service, but I was not very impressed with the experience.

Excellent and the host was welcoming. We had a fantastic dining experience at Akbar in Montreal during Memorial Day weekend. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The host made us feel right at home.

I love going to this place. My friend recommended it 2 months back. And i have been here 5-6 times already. Truly authentic Indian food ever. Butter chicken, Biryani, Masala okra, Navrattan Korma... everything is just awesome. Friendly new owner couple and delicious food they serve. Can't have enough of this place. Good luck..

(BE WARNED)Been going to Chef Akbar for years!I loved it!, the food was amazing, so much so that I would commute over 45 min's from Laval to Take-out at this specific restaurant at least once every other month.Unfortunately, good things never last...Today, I ordered take out like I normally do, but was shocked to find out despite the name being the same, It has a new owner.Even worse, the food changed... DRASTICALLY!!!The food went from one of the best, to a below average ****, I couldn't even finish it!I'm so sad!Goodbye Chef Akbar, This restaurant is a shell of its former self.
