Sesame - Pierrefonds

If you are looking for a change from the everyday, Sesame may be your place to try.It seems to be a fushion of Asian, American, and Quebec cuisines. One that catches the eye is the General Tao Poutine.Actually pretty tasty, but definitely different from the everyday. A visit is what I would recommend.

We enjoy asian food as Australia has many choices and on our trip around the USA and Canada, we felt like a change from burgers, nice as they are.On our way past Sesame, in Montreal, we noticed the tasteful decor and decided to give this asian restaurant a try.The food was well worth the try as it was freshly prepared and tasty.The beer was good and the service was also very good.Overall, i'd recommend this thai restaurant as a good choice away from the usual array of burger and tourist restaurants not far from here in old Montreal.Give it a try if you enjoy thai food.Finally, not to be forgotten, a decent tea menu for those who enjoy completing their meal with a beverage of this nature. We do and we enjoyed the marrakech tea.

We are in the middle of a tour of Quebec, Montreal and Toronto and have enjoyed some excellent French cuisine. A fellow we met recommended Sesame and we tried it. Everything about it was excellent, the food, the service the ambiance. A nice change of pace.

Criticizing the restaurant of the same banner, but the one on Ste-Catherine Street: we were a group of 8, the wait was very (too) long; management of major groups must be improved. meals arrived one after another, mistake in meals, in additions. short. a lot to do. Too bad for them!

I was on Sunday night. there was no space inside, so we sat on the terrace. our waitress was good. eating was good, but no big part at all and expensive. I took the burger who was good, but the chicken roast rice was decent. for the desert I had the cheesecake, but it was too small and for the drink I had the Chinese medicine and it was ok. we also waited very long for our order and there was mixing in our order.
