Mama Mia - Piet Retief

The BEST meal I had in my entire life! Their German butcher meat cuts, the excellent service there is nothing short of having the Best meal of your life. I would recommend adding this restaurant to your stop if you pads through Piet Retief. Thank me Later

What a wonderful eclectic restaurant! Quirky yet warm and welcoming. Both management and the waiters welcomed us profusely and our request to move tables closer to the blazing fire was done with smiles and alacrity! Menu is varied with something for everyone including my pescatarian wife. As to the food, my wife declared her grilled Hake the best she has had in a long time. I had a Pork Schnitzel which was tender and delicious. Chips were great and the Butternut and the Spinach sides were cooked in the Boere style and also awesome! Overall a great experience for us traveller's staying over on our way home. A wonderful end to our holiday!

Excellent place to enjoy food with friends, family, or loved ones. Food is excellent with a big variety of lovely dishes to choose from , and the service is always helpful. The atmosphere is cosy, and you always feel welcome. It's my favourite restaurant in Piet Retief.

Food is slightly pricy but very good, good service. Nice atmosphere and place to spend the evening
