Our tree-lined son was welcomed as if he were the wild....it had become the shadow of the owner. beautifully managed by private and silent brother, the volcanic and hospitable sister, with the supervision of the kind and present father. . ..structure with bar, food and small inn. new and well-kept apartments, small but well-kept bar, small tavern with atypical cuisine, which follows the recipes of the territory and very good. excellent value for money. I hope to return
In the family, with other children, we made an excursion in this ancient mountain village. at lunch we booked in this small local restaurant. services and scrupulous in the control of green passes. from the limited menu of the day, hanging out, we got some excellent dishes. appetizer with ham, pecorino and ricotta cheese. sandwiches with scamorza and sausage, for children. Finally a good soup of beans, chestnuts and porcini, accompanied by a full-bodied red wine. Having tasted all the dishes, I think it has a right price quality ratio. deserves a return.
We took gondel (sessellift) on the gran sasso and then wandered the way to the refugio. it was an amazing experience. it took about hours to get to the refugee, but it was worth it. a large part of the stretch was a challenge since some. the cliffs had to hold a steel rope to drive forward. it was an exciting experience that I recommend to anyone who is in good physical condition. some hours to climb. the farewell was much easier and only lasted about an hour. a certain must be for the adventurous type.
Nice eating; the local timballo (a vegetarian lasagne) is excellent, and it is worth visiting. the restaurant is very small and the waiter' (the owner can be a little grumpy to give them a table, but persistent!
We had produced a very pleasant evening with domestically made foods before place and were offered at the end a wonderful liqueur
