First, the hot chocolate was made with a false recipe, which was not how it is traditionally made. Additionally, the person handling the cash register was not knowledgeable about the products they were selling. The glasses used for the juices were not cleaned properly, and there was a 20-minute wait time.
The only drawback we experienced was finding parking initially, which was confusing. However, we opted to use the valet service to alleviate any parking concerns, and it was well worth it. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by a delightful beach holiday scent. The staff was exceptional, particularly Ronnie at the front desk who provided excellent service throughout our stay. They made an effort to accommodate our request to have our rooms close to each other, which was greatly appreciated as we were traveling with two 18-year-olds. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, offering a beautiful view of the river. Joy and Kaitlyn at the pool bar were outstanding, with Joy serving up delicious drinks and keeping us entertained with her friendly demeanor. They even provided umbrellas on a rainy day to ensure we stayed dry. On our last day, we visited the Fins and Chill bar where Spencer, the bartender, took great care of us. When I realized our room was out of beer, Tammy and Luis from the Fins bar went out of their way to deliver a beer to our room. The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely be returning in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near various attractions that are easily accessible by foot.
It was our first visit to pigeon forge. I used trip advisor and the web to find the best hotel. we were here because it had great reviews. we loved our stay. the view of the balcony was amazing. we had the village view. the room was clean and truly unique with all decorations. the staff there was really friendly. it is right in the center of the island pigeon forge and we spent the day to foot around the shops, eat in paula deens, and ride the rides. we stayed for two nights and we will be back next year definitiw. we loved this hotel.
Stay for 3 nights and housekeeping service not on a single day. we made sure that we didn't disturb the sign and we were from midday to late in the night every time, much time, but they never showed up. When we first went to the room, we drove to the balcony and got a hornet fly right into our heads. we saw up and there were 2 pretty good size nester. said the tableman and he did as if he called maintenance work to remove it, but at the night when we came back, the nesters were still there, they never came to remove it. could not use the entire stay. for more than $400 per night, clean towels, müll excluded, and in the position to use a balcony should not ask too much. the air conditioning barely flowed at night, so it was quite unpleasant in the room and it was hard to sleep. the people would gather on the curse near our room and hear their whole conversation about some time. on our departure day, the parking service was so busy that we wrote that our car would take 30 minutes to be picked up. we had to drive to the airport, so we have it ourselves. the only possible way to park is really through the parking service. when they park their own car, they have a long way to go with all visitors on the island. driving through was a nightmare because so many people too foot and do not allow to pass cars.
First of all, I must say the welcome we received by the valet staff and those at the front desk were amazing and so helpful! The lobby also smelled amazing! We had two village view rooms. One was a larger room with two queen beds and a chair with an ottoman. The second room was smaller, but had seats and the foot of the beds. Both rooms had a large bathroom with amazing showers with a rain shower option. The beds were comfortable and everyone had decent sleeps for not sleeping in our own beds. I would say that if you must have a completely dark room, a village view room may not be for you. While the door to the balcony has adjustable blinds, quite a lot of light does get in. Also, the noise in the village view rooms may be bothersome if you like to go to bed early. We could hear the people talking and music playing until at least 11 each night. It was great for us because we enjoyed staying out late listening to the music or enjoying daiquiris at Dude's Daiquiris. Overall, my only real complaint is that it was sometimes impossible to enjoy sitting on the balcony. There are benches near almost all the balconies for those visiting The Island to sit. Many times in the mornings, people would sit on those benches smoking. As a person who suffers from migraines triggered from strong smells, especially from strong perfumes and cigarette smoke, I would have to go back into the room before I wanted to when the smoke started invading my space. If it were not for the cigarette smoke every time I sat on the balcony, I would have given a 5-star review.
