Broken Throne Brewing - Pikeville

Great Kolsch. No IPAs or Pale Ales but……nice place. If I’m ever in town again I will be back.

Absolutely delicious burgers… I went with the “sovereign” ?… great brews and atmosphere!

Super friendly staff and very clean. Love the salad and the chicken tenders ! And the bone in wings. Would recommend.

Stopped by here for a beer with friends during the first night of Hill Billy Days, and enjoyed a 'POG ' passionfruit orange guava cider. Before settling on the POG, I was able to taste a few of the beers on tap, and almost got a flight, but decided I should eat something before drinking too much. The cider had a lower alcohol content, despite being a little sweet, and it was really the perfect happy hour drink as we people watched, chatted with the friendly locals and brewery staff, and watched several dishes of delicious food be served all around us.After our beer we headed off into the night, expecting to eat carnival food among the crowds enjoying the festival, but nothing really caught our fancy, so we decided to head back to Broken Throne for dinner. At this point it was after 8 pm, and dark out, but it was really a lovely comfortable evening, so we opted to sit outside. All the seating on the ground level was full, so we ordered food and then headed upstairs to sit on the deck. It was really dark up there, but somehow, the staff found us and served our various wings, boneless chicken tenders, loaded fries and wings. I had the Sovereign, a burger with beer cheese and caramelized onions, plus an order of fries. It was ok, but a little overcooked and heavy. I attributed that to the late hour...despite that, I loved the whole atmosphere, and the beer. This place is a must do in Pikeville definitely take advantage of tasting beers first, and don 't miss out on the loaded fries!!

Emily and Ray are fantastic. They offer a great variety of their own crafted beers. The food is outstanding, especially the loaded fries, and their burgers are amazing.
