Soooo good. Traditional food perfectly seasoned and seasoned. If you like soul food, that's the BEST. If you never had soul food, this is the place to go!

The food was great. Very tasty and satisfying. I had fried chicken, dumplings and black eyeballs with okra. Everything was great. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good soul food. The interior has come down a bit, but the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the food is more than for aesthetics.

I’ve been hearing good reports on this place. Especially on Saturday nights when the Blues Society books a band. One of the major pluses is no smoking inside. Also the parking area and store front was extremely well lighted. I left at midnight and walked to my car, one block, with no feeling of any danger. The place was packed with paying patrons I hope the owner can hang onto some profit and continue with success.
