The art installation along the path was disappointing; the artwork felt rather uninspired. However, the cabins were clean and well-maintained. The heater worked well for the chilly 19-degree night.
What a magical place! The cabins offer a perfect escape from the stresses of the world. They are comfortable and cozy, and the restaurant, The Old Path... OMG! The food is incredible! Great prices! Fantastic staff!
The cabins were cozy, although the bathroom was a bit small. We really enjoyed our stay in April 2022 and would definitely consider staying there again. The food at the cafe was delightful, and the walk around El Morro Park was absolutely breathtaking.
Very relaxed environment and super friendly people. the plots were well maintained and late Aug/Early sept wildflowers were beautiful. wifi was just enough to send texts. bathrooms were sufficient. ve was in worse, but with a shower is always appreciated. cost of $30 for rv hook up was very affordable! the hiking trail was super cool behind the grounds - it is worth checking out and climbing a bit for a great sunset. had not seen the caffe or the business, but looked sweet. very accessible for el morro, the ice cave, la ventana arch and the hike in el calderon to see the flea mouse in the dam!
Love the cozy log cabin interior and shaded patio. Food was great, service was stellar. I had the brisket sandwich with apricot habanero and brought home some fresh baked pastries for the fam. They let me eat w my dog on the patio which is nice and shady. The bathrooms are large and clean. Very cozy and comfortable place to be.
