La Foggetta - PINETO

We loved this place far from the madding crowd but also close, 5 mins, to beaches and resort. Really lovely staff, super pool, great rooms and superb restaurant.

We stayed overnight at their B&B so booked in for an evening meal... We were the only guests on a Friday night, although the owners family did also come and eat later in the evening. No cocktails or pool as mentioned in a previous review, although a very friendly waiter/receptionist! We ordered a ricotta pie to start, which was baked from fresh and took some time. To fill the time the waiter brought us some lovely bruschetta on deep fried pizza bread, which was lovely and free. The starter was worth the wait and utterly beautiful, unlike anything I have ever tasted before... For mains I had gnocchi and my partner had ordered whole wheat pasta. Neither dish came as ordered, mine was supposed to have squash flowers and other ingredients that were not present. My partner did not get whole wheat pasta but a mix of pastas. The mixed veg we ordered came as greasy fried greens and we were both disappointed with our mains. The price was great though at about 7 euros each for our main course! We washed it all down with a couple of bottles of Peccorino, recommended by the waiter. It was local, lovely and cost 12 euros a bottle. If we had stayed an extra night, we probably wouldn't have eaten there again... Only because the mains let us down... Great service, super starters and fantastic price!

Bel posto,un po' troppo tranquillo, sconsigliato ai giovani

Struttura da favola con piscina e ristorante;leggermente in collinetta ma a 1 km dal mare facilmente raggiungibile con auto. Un weekend da favola! Andateci se potete.

Gran bel posto, accogliente, fuori dal centro ma a portata di mano. Piscina super come anche la cucina. Mi sono fermato solo per appoggio durante il viaggio verso la Puglia ma vi assicuro che da solo varrebbe il viaggio per una bella vacanza a Pineto, provare per credere!
