Lido Itaca - PINETO

This looks like a typical mediocrely beach snack/pizzetta bar. It's much better than that. The seafood is very good and the service is nice; also good out of peak lunch hours for sitting with a cool beer!

Have spent many hours here. The beach is excellent, very safe for children. Food in the restaurant is great. Roberto and Rafaella run this place superbly.

Lido Itaca, located few kilometres down from Pineto (TE) on the shore of Torre del Cerrno, is not just a picturesque private beach on the Adriatic coast north of Pescara, but also a remarkableseafood restaurant. Food is fresh, incredibly tasty, prepared to perfection and served cheerfully by young and energetic waiters. This place offers really a one-of-a kind experience so you bound to return, again and again, we we’ve done so since discovering it last year. As such book in advance (early morning for both lunch and beach chairs) is recommended.

We had the pleasure of popping in to Lido Itaca for some water whilst walking along the beach and were met by the delightful owners who could not do enough for us. Two bottles of water and an ice cream for 4 Euros! We continued our walk for an hour or so and then returned for some more refreshment and sat outside watching the world go by for an hour or drinking coffee and wine (5 Euros). We spent quite some time talking to the owners and they offered fruit to us and advice on where we should visit. Wonderful people. We called in before we left on a Sunday, but sadly, they were not open. Definitely a place to visit especially as it's just a few hundred metres from the Maritime Museum at Torre del Cerrano.

The beach view is extensive and food is yummy. Amazing owners and exotica atmosphere. You may want to come as couple or bring your family. Quite relaxing place
