However, I paid with cash and asked the girl to count my change, but instead, she just handed me the receipt. When I counted my change, I realized I was short $10. She casually handed me the missing $10 after I pointed it out and asked if I needed anything else before walking away. This raises a red flag for me—it feels like something wasn't quite right. The register displays the correct change too, which is frustrating. Overall, I'm not pleased with this experience.
The meats are excellent, but the cooked deli menu is disappointing. They rarely have anything available on it. Although the menu is extensive, you're lucky if you find even five items in stock.
I purchased half a cow and it was terrible! It wasn't cut or labeled as I requested. The meat was incredibly tough—it's as if it should have all been ground instead. You would expect the beef to be properly cut and packaged after spending over $1,000 on it. I won't be making the mistake of going there again!
The service is excellent and quick, and the food is delicious and fresh. I really enjoy going inside and being able to communicate my needs directly; it also has a lovely aroma. While some items may take a bit longer to arrive, they are definitely worth the wait.
I just had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I've developed a real craving for chicken cracklings over the past few months and had been visiting regularly, sometimes even twice a week. Today, I walked in and asked the lady for a pound of chicken cracklings. She went to check in the back and returned to tell me that they weren’t currently cooking any, but that she would fry some up for me. I thought that was great, so I said I’d wait in my car. My car was parked right in front of the entrance, visible from the register. After waiting for 10 minutes, I went back inside only to be told that they actually didn’t have any chicken cracklings. So instead of keeping me updated, they just made me sit in my car for no reason. They’ve lost my business; I won’t be returning.
