The weekend we were there, there was a youth league in house and the parents were drinking and yelling until 3am in the morning. We didn 't get any sleep the first night. I 'm surprised the front desk agent allowed them to carry on and be such a disturbance so far beyond Hilton quiet time . The second night was a little better but I still had to contact the front desk about the noise. On the flip side, Mrs. Michelle in the kitchen is amazing!!! She made sure everyone had what they needed and she was working so hard. However, she still took the time to greet each guest and ask them about their stay. She is a quality employee
Stayed here for 3 out of the 5 nights we were originally booked for. The walls are paper thin and there were boys/sports teams running up and down the halls for hours every night. We could also hear every word said in the connected room even with both doors shut. And our door didn't shut well. We could hear people talking in the hall and when someone knocked on another door it was so loud in our room we thought they were knocking on our door. We also had a broken clock radio and left it with a note for the maid to replace it. The maid took it but never replaced it. We asked for another one and they couldn't provide it for some reason. So, 3rd night here and still don't have a clock radio. Checking out in the morning and moving to another Hotel.
I came to town for a friend's birthday weekend. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 am and was greeted by the vivacious employee LJ. She offered a speedy check in while asking about the trip to the area. She was personable and professional. One of my family members has a chemical sensitivity and fragrances adversely effects him. LJ allowed him to check the room to make sure everything was appropriate. She was so patient and understanding. The room was great and we had a good time in the area. I will be back.
I stayed here for a family reunion and we were very pleased. The beds at Hampton Inn are always so comfortable. The staff was professional and patient when we did a bunch of room-switching. This is a super weird building, and we were wondering what it used to be. For example, our room didn't have a closet! They had fashioned one by having a curtain and hooks along one wall. My parents said that it reminded them of staying on a cruise ship, where shelves and cabinets are hidden in odd places to maximize space. The pool is small but pretty and clean. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Gym, also, small but very clean. The walls are absolutely soundproof. I stayed with my 6-year-old son. My parents stayed in the next room over. One afternoon, my husband and son were roughhousing, and my son was screaming and shrieking at the top of his lungs. I asked my mom whether she could hear it, and she said not at all. Which I believe, as I also didn't hear any noises at all during our entire trip.
I love Hampton Inn. I exclusively stay at Hilton. But this one was terrible. There were only two plugs near the beds that worked, and I had to use one to plug in my computer in order to charge my phone because none of the USB functioned . My husband had to put his CPAP machine in the other. We had to unplug a light and the clock in order to plug those things in because the rest of the plugs didn't work. The whole room smelled like urine. And it is so narrow that I couldn't open my suitcase, or even bring the suitcase cart into the room. It was very poorly designed. That's nothing they can do anything about, of course. But all of the other things were terrible. And after 11 hours on the road, we didn't want to have to deal with all of those problems. We picked up the phone to see if we could get another room and even the phone didn't work. We were exhausted so we just made it work. But I wanted to make you aware of the problem because someone needs to put some money into that hotel, at least our room, which was room 100. Don't stay here
