Pardner's -b-que Steak - Piney Flats

Extremely disappointed by the food and service here. I ate here years ago and it was great food. I came here for the first time in years and this is my last visit. When you come ask for Brenda she is very sweet, helpful and offers great service. All the others were rude. We ordered Queso and it ran like water it was the worst bath I saw and we asked if they could fix it, they added standard shredded cheese. I have published pictures of before, after and a video of the dip.

My family and I came to lunch at 12:00 (Sunday). There were 7 of us at our party. The restaurant was quiet... the ordinary church crowd, a few families, not full, but not empty. We were welcomed quite quickly and received our drinks/place of our order. We had to ask our waitress for refills several times during our meal. It took an hour to restore our food, and when we finally began to get our food, half of it was missing, and an order was wrong. While we were waiting for the wrong meal to be fixed, the rest of us started eating because it was an hour. The food itself wasn't great. My mother-in-law said her catfish was good, the BBQ my husband and I got good, but all the fries were so fat and mushy. They were all hanging together... It's like they're pushing a lot of fries into the frit at once and instead they just break up the fat. The hush puppies were big, but they were super dry and shredded as soon as you took a bite. The server said they were short in the kitchen and they would give us a free dessert to help wait and mistake. When we wanted to get our dessert, she said we could have a piece of cake and a bowl of Cobbler, then everything else we have to pay. My MIL was thrown away a little because she thought we could get at least one piece of cake for each child (3) because all 7 of us had to wait and had mistakes. But we only took the two, thank you said and on. The server was friendly and made sure everything came out at some point, it was very slow.

The food was very good. The bride was amazing. The ladies who worked there were very nice and very professional. The only problem we had is that they were understaffed and it took us over an hour to get our food. But that's not really her fault. The manager performed kitchen tasks so you could say they were understaffed. But overall, I will definitely go back. And the blue cheese is also absolutely amazing.

Tonight was the worst culinary experience I had in every restaurant in my life. Somehow it's like you're pretending you never did. After sitting, we waited almost 35 minutes before someone set to our table. I had to fly a server to get our drinks orders. We went ahead and ordered our food as we had half an hour or so take a look at the menu that took another 45 minutes to get the main part of the duck. The sides finally came to the table for one and a half hours. After receiving our food, I went to empty tables (which there were very few, since the place hopped) in search of bottles of salt and pepper shakers that were not as shown in the photos below, without luck. I received undercoppers and inedible Hushpuppies with my meal (which are shown below). It is quite clear that the owner of this facility is more concerned with the lining of their bags with the money of customers who expect decent service and a good meal, by revising their already underused servers and capitalizing on their hard work sitting in a comfortable chair somewhere different than their equipment that pays their bills. That was absolutely pathetic. I cannot believe that they charge money for locals and visitors equally for such bad service and disgusting conditions. My following review will be Facebook, and then the Sullivan County Health Department on Monday morning. Save your time and don't eat here. For all employees who need better conditions, find me on Facebook and ask me about a job with better pay and better working conditions. Update: I also spoke to the wonderful manager who reduced our meal and made sure that the owner was not there. The busiest night of the week. It's in a restaurant. This really shows where the priorities of the owners lie. Painful guidance.

First time there. Bad service. Had to ask several times for refills for drinks. Took long time for our food. They brought out 2 people's side dishes about 20 minutes before we got our main food. One lady didn't get her chicken sandwich (all she ordered) until 15 minutes after everyone else received their food. We had to ask for the baked potato that was never brought out.I can say the side dishes were wonderful. 2 of us got the bbq pork, neither of us liked it at all. 1 got the brisket, did not like it. I haven't looked at any reviews but sorry to say we will not go back. 1 said the ribs were good.
