We decided to have lunch at this restaurant and ordered a parmi, nuggets, garden salad, chorizo linguine, and jalapeño poppers. The wait was quite long, but the parmi was great and the poppers were delicious. However, the chorizo linguine was disappointing. It seemed to be pasta with sauce, chorizo, and shrimp, tasting similar to canned spaghetti. I couldn't finish it. The pasta was cooked well, though. The chips were tasty and the service was friendly. It was difficult to understand why such a lazy dish made it onto the menu.
With Covid rules being in place we had to show all our immunisation records on arrival and ordered some lunch. We had the whiting and chips(special of the day) and a Caesar salad.I wouldnt rave about either of the meals with the fish being packaged fish...and the sauce on the salad out of a bottle and NO ANCHOVIES.These had to be ordered for an extra $4 and the chicken was another $4.Sorry but a caesar salad has anchovies on it unless you ask for them to be removed. On getting another drink we were questioned again for our immunization records but this time they marked our hands so we didnt need to do it all over again. The beer garden is a lovely shaded area over looking the river.I would go here again to try the food but its definately just pub grub and dont expect anything special
The dining experience was excellent with incredible service! The location was great and perfect for families. The staff was attentive and helpful.
Popped in for lunch ordered chicken panini and Caesar salad. No caramelised onions on the panini or boiled egg in the salad. Water station wasn’t working and seemed all to hard to put an out of order sign on it by the disinterested barmaid.
