Zanolini - PINZOLO

This was our favorite place to eat in Madonna di Campiglio! The food was spectacular and beautifully presented. The waiters were very helpful, warm, and kind we felt very welcomed. We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, and the wine recommended by the waiter was outstanding. Be sure to order desserts; they are true works of art! The pictures on their website and TripAdvisor don’t do it justice the ambience, food, and wine were all superb!

Breads, delicious, the best part of the meal. Gnocchi fine. Then: Fish, with a cold green sauce (why cold? Of green apples and celery Argentinian steak, very plain, sinewy and tough. Desserts were nothing unusual so we didn't bother.

Started well with a load of fresh baked bread 8 different! Then went downhill. We shared a gnocchi starter potato gnocchi with apple, speck and saffron ok but no sign of saffron. Then my wife had Char with a stew of green apple and celery. This was tepid and had to be sent back. My main was Argentinian beef served with potato rosti stuffed with cheese and ham. These turned out to be cheesy potato balls supermarket style no sign of smoked ham or rosti for that matter coupled with which the beef was stringy and tough.

Luogo stupendo, piatti curati e bel posto… unica pecca … il cameriere molto invadente e non da il tempo per potersi rilassare tra una portata e l’altra… una serata di compleanno un po’ troppo frettoloso… un consiglio da un viaggiatore serio!!! Datevi una calmata… anche in tempo di covid.. alle siamo arrivati e alle già ci chiedeva il dolce… la chicca è stata mentre si stava ancora von il piatto non ancora terminato, già lo voleva portare via… neanche in una trattoria si ha questi tempi da record…

Mangiare qui è fare una vera esperienza di gusto NON semplicemente mangiare. Tanti piatti del territorio reinventati ma senza perdere le loro radici e se lo desideri anche fresco pesce di mare. Da non perdere i dolci!
