I have to give them a good review if I only have a great help with the exception of Rice Noodle and love it.
New Country, owned and operated by hard working people, offers an authentic small town, family-run culinary experience. Like any buffet, plan your trip to eat when you find it fresh, hot and tasty! Do not expect to be pampered... just relax, eat and enjoy. You'll be back with your friends to share a good meal. (The price is correct... You can afford the tip.
This is still my favorite buffet and I make it a point to visit anyone I stumble in this area at least once. It's open every day except Monday. The best time to go is at 11:15, because everything is fresh and full. Honestly, this place does a worse than average job keeping things fresh and boosting for the dinner buffet, which is it disadvantages, which is why I highly recommend 11:15AM. The buffet size and selection are smaller (but still as large as Brookings and larger than Madison, SD) but the individual product selection is different from the freshness superior. I can't talk to sit down Chinese places that don't offer buffets, but as far as buffets go, it's worth a try.
An unselected treasure. The food is AMAZING! The workers are very sweet. The atmosphere is a bit out, but for me this is to be expected in a small town. The best Chinese food I had in Minnesota. Take is very generous and the buffet is just as good.
I've been too hard on this place in the past. Good selection of food at a reasonable price. Nice to have some variety in a town this size!
