Pisa pizza is a pan pizzeria very popular with young people and students due to its strategic position, a stone's throw from Piazza Dante. I've been there many times and I must say that the goodness of the food depends a lot on what you eat and the standards you have. For a pizzeria by the slice in Tuscany it's not bad, but as a Lazio native I have to say that it's not the best of the best. The dough remains high, soft and very greasy. The condiments are classic and the prices are within the Pisan norm. The 5e5 isn't bad but the best thing I've eaten in this pizzeria so far is the pizza covered with sausage and cheese. That one is really worth it, it is very tasty and seasoned, and being covered it is less thick and less soft than the others. The staff is always friendly and the place overall isn't bad, considering it has plenty of seating both inside and outside. The pizza is good, the price more than honest. Much better than Pam's gourmet pizza where you pay the same.
