Pitlochry Boating Station Cafe

I visited the Cairngorms for the first time and stopped at the Pitlochry Boots Station for a quick meal before spending an hour on a boat ride. It’s such a beautiful place! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the views and surroundings were breathtaking. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it for hikers and water enthusiasts!

The view here is breathtaking, and taking a boat ride through the hole is an unforgettable experience. The surrounding forest offers fantastic walking trails, with plenty of spots for swimming in the water.

A great spot to take a break! It features a lovely atmosphere and offers a nice selection of refreshments: excellent coffee, homemade cakes, soup, and filled baguettes.

Kayaking on a sunny afternoon was pure bliss! The kayaks were in great condition, and the service was friendly. There were also charming ducks to feed and a lovely café to enjoy while watching the water. It’s a perfect place to spend the day, suitable for all ages and skill levels.

We stumbled upon this beautiful spot and are so glad we did! It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal, drink, or ice cream by the lake, surrounded by cute ducks and swans. There are walking and cycling trails that begin right there. You can also rent boats, kayaks, or obtain fishing permits. The staff is friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. I can't wait to return!
