As an indian, this was not what i expected from the food at this place. it was inauthentic the curries were sweet not a tinge of spiciness at all, maybe this is how curries in scotland were meant to be? i have also never seen a curry that red before, definitely gave me PTSD to not eat indian food in the UK.
Dined there this evening we were a bit apprehensive after seeing the mixed reviews but we honestly couldn’t fault either the meal or the service I had the onion Bajhi and the Lamb Balti which was excellent and my better half had popadoms and Chicken Tikka Chasni spiced onions not what you expect but she really enjoyed everything else.
Wonderful Nan! It was lovely to see such a great place in scotland.
Hate leaving a poor review, but my husband and I really didn’t enjoy our experience. Decent service, but our food was made by people who obviously don’t care whether it tastes good or not. Our Korma was pure sugar and tasteless, contained no vegetables, and was cost us 18 pounds per person. A lot to spend for a lousy meal. Maybe a fluke, but nevertheless, we both felt a little ill afterwards. Not the best.
