Bj's Brewhouse - Pittsburgh

We stumbled on this place when all other restaurants in the area had over a 2 hour wait. They were able to seat us in under an hour even with a full restaurant. The food and beer selection was great. We love the California Club Flatbread and the weekend Prime Rib Roast special. This is our new favorite spot to grab a bite to eat.

Restaurant was practically empty told a 30 minute wait only to see 3 parties seated ahead of us (only a party of 2) that arrived after us. I asked the hostess she said she texted me several times… she had my number incorrect. We were sitting 10 feet from hostess and she never bothered to try and call my name. So finally seated … ordered appetizers and meal all at once. 30 minutes later still no food. Paid for my ice tea and left.. I realize places are short staffed but this was all inexcusable.

Waited over 30 minutes for table and 30 minutes for food never even got chips and dip … we left

Overpriced for underwhelming food and service.The extreme pepperoni or whatever, that promised lots of pepperoni simply took the average amount cut it up into strips cubes. The pizza was hugely thick but it was all dough so the long wait was ultimately for basically fancy frozen box pizza. It wasn't even hot when brought out!The decor was ok, but I was freezing cold where we were sitting.Treated my service dog well.The drinks were good, pictured is the Tamerac (not sure if right) beer, Lavender Lemonade mocktail, and Shirley Temple.But the waitress seemed to ignore everyone at the table except me. I ordered for everyone and did most of the talking, but still; she refilled my cup without me asking, yet the other 2 empty cups/patrons were ignored.

We totally enjoyed your restaurant. Your Professional staff was excellent. calamari portion perfect and extremely tasty pizza love the chicken bacon ranch. I was designated driver so I did not get a chance to enjoy your beers. I’ll definitely return with friends. I did notice that our waiter was training a new employee and was patient and courteous with her as they both waited on our party of 10.
