Buford's Kitchen Downtown - Pittsburgh

We arrived on time for our reservation, but it didn't seem like it mattered to them. We had to stand in line behind all the walk-ins, and there were no tables available! We made a reservation for our party of six precisely for that reason. Eventually, we were seated in a booth that was quite cramped for six people, and unfortunately, it was right next to the bathrooms, which I find really unpleasant! The food took a long time to arrive—about 40 minutes—which seems to be the norm for Buford's.

We were seated by the garage doors, and it was quite chilly.

The Po Boy advertises itself as catfish, but it actually serves tilapia. I could definitely taste the difference and wasn't a fan of it. However, our server was excellent. The rest of our group seemed to enjoy their meals.

We have there in time for our reservation, but it did not seem that reservations were important for them. we had to stand behind everyone who just came in. no tables available! we had a party of 6 and have therefore kept up! we sat in a stand that was hard to fit 6 people and it was right next to the baths that I absolutely hate! it looks a long time for eating (40 minutes) which is normal for buford.

The po boy claims to be catfish. it's tilapia. I know the tasty taste and hate it. our server was very good. the rest of our party was ok with their food.
