Hello Bistro - Pittsburgh

The service here is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is fine, even somewhat cosy for a quick bites place like this. What brings it down to three stars for me, however, is the burgers. They aren't juicy nor particularly flavorful and taste comparable to fast food burgers. I've tried this place twice and twice have had the same experience. Were they to improve their burger recipe I could see this place earning five stars in my eyes.Credit where credit is due, their fries are quite good.

We arrived at 7 PM on a Sunday and found the restaurant completely empty, with no other customers ordering. There were three employees present, all focused on cleaning up so they could leave for the night. Unfortunately, it seemed like serving us was just an afterthought for them. My meal was prepared incorrectly, and all of the fries were cold, soggy, and undercooked. It will be a long time before we return to this location; they really need to hire proper management instead of the unprofessional ones currently in charge.

The food we had was excellent, and the building was quite charming. The fries were definitely the highlight of the meal. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the salads!

Great place. I work on the south side but this was my first visit. Friendly quick service and the food was great. I attempted to go to Burger King first but for some reason they didn't have any burgers??! They did me a favor. I got a burger combo there for about the same price and it was excellent. Kudos my friends! I'll be back.

The only flavor I could detect was that of burnt bread, which I ended up tossing out. The staff was unfriendly, and there were gnats in the ketchup. On the bright side, the soda was good. My recommendation is to give this place a pass.
