Feedback gevenI really dislike sending steak back to the kitchen, and usually I try to make do, but my first filet had the texture of shoe leather from the very first bite. When I noticed that my medium-rare steak resembled medium-well, I had to send it back. My husband's filet was overcooked as well and had a terrible texture. However, my second steak was significantly better—it had excellent flavor and texture, and I ended up sharing it with my husband since he couldn't eat his. They did offer us olives instead of bread service, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, this was the most we've ever spent at a restaurant, and it was disappointing, especially when compared to most truck stop sirloins. The espresso martini, however, was fantastic, but I would suggest avoiding the steak.
I've heard a lot of mixed reviews, but my three colleagues and I had a fantastic experience. I usually opt for filet, but since I'm not really a seafood fan and the filet comes topped with shrimp, I decided to try the NY strip Martorano with sweet peppers and sharp provolone. It was delicious! I also tried some chicken cutlet parmesan from my friends, and it was excellent. The fresh mozzarella, meatballs, and calamari appetizers were all great as well.
I took my parents to this restaurant for their 55th wedding anniversary. We ordered steaks, all cooked medium rare, but they all arrived well done. We sent them back, and my dad's steak came back raw while ours were once again well done and only half the size of our original orders. We waited 30 minutes for the replacement steaks, but eventually decided to leave. My parents ended up having just two olives for their dinner. Additionally, everything was extremely spicy. I do not recommend this place.
Service was Mediocre. I like my steak well done. I understand how a chef would he appalled by that, but as a paying customer, I would think they would want to cook it to my liking. But No, they will NOT cook past Medium. Ordered chicken parm instead.Almost no sauce on it. Wasn't feeling it. My husband ordered a veal chop and was quite pleased with his meal.
I?ve been to this restaurant several times and this place does not DISAPPOINT! I had the same first time experience like many people here in the comment and was truly off put by no substitution for any dishes and they won?t cook you a well done steak. Ifyou are a picky person or if you simply like your steak well done and no other way, this is not the place for you. EverythingI?ve had is creamed based and spicy, two things I really love! Their drinks are also to die for. I?m a huge fan of the cucumberfizz. The 16oz NY strip, Joey spicy chicken cutlet (special), eggplant stack and the loaded mash is delicious.
