Onion Maiden - Pittsburgh

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. We ordered hot dogs, cookies, and nachos which I highly recommend. Although it says they are closed, I have not been back in months. I heard they participated in a vegan festival recently.

I have tried several dishes at this restaurant and they have all been delicious. The curry and the cheese plate are particularly outstanding. And the prices are also amazing for the quality of food you receive.

Great food that tastes delicious and is very unique (but in a way that works). Love the vegan cheese, especially with the tater tots. Vegan hot dogs are also really good and have extra fun names. I’m mainly sad that they’re closing! Sounds like the reasoning is the owners are burnt out, which is understandable, but I will definitely miss getting Onion Maiden every time we’re in town.

I have been eager to visit this restaurant for years, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was fantastic, the staff was friendly, they had great merchandise, and the food was amazing. A definite must-try.

Traveled to Pittsburgh for work and ate here nearly every day. Vegan cheese board was great!
