Sapporo Japanese Steak House

We were asked to wait over an hour to join a reserved party, because they were not just going to serve two people. When we asked if they could only prepare food for us and we were sitting at the bar, they said they were not serving people at the bar. They only used two of their SEVERAL Hibachi Grills. I understand that I want to save resources, but will they keep turning the customers away? They could have sat, prepared the cooking area and served more people than the night went on. I am also uneasy to know that I was sitting next to someone who reserved a place for a birthday party. If I were part of this party, I would not want strangers to be placed next to me while I try to enjoy time with my family/friends.

We were there for a birthday party, and everyone in the restaurant was wonderful, and the food was fantastic!

I highly recommend this place for dinner! The food was incredible, and the Hibachi chef was incredibly friendly. The hostess was also very accommodating, making reservations easy even on the same day. The portions were generous, there were plenty of options, and the service was excellent. It's a family-owned restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience!

My food was horrible you could tell it was just prepackaged food thrown in a pan for a few minutes and then tossed in a tray. My food also had hair in it, it is important to note though that I got takeout and it could be different when cooked in front of you. Overall however my experience was horrid.
