The brussel sprouts were so undercooked. My girlfriend got the biscuits and gravy and when it came the gravy was lukewarm at best. We didn’t wait terribly long so I have no idea why the gravy was that cold. Don’t think we’ll be back.
Fair priced quality diner food. Just what you'd expect coming to a local diner. Got seated right away on a Saturday morning during brunch. Got lucky last 2 seats.Food: 5/5
Food poisoning from the French toast ??? not sure if the batter was old or maybe it wasn't cooked all the way through but its been a rough afternoon and evening into night, coming out both ends (sorry to be gross). It tasted good going down but not worth it. May have been a one time thing but just proceed with caution. I like the vibe in there but it's been a tough day.
The Apple Cinnamon French toast was decent, and the potatoes were just average. The bacon was nicely cooked and the fresh squeezed OJ was delicious I got 3 cups! The service was friendly. It’s a small place, so they can get a bit cramped on weekends. The coffee was standard breakfast coffee, nothing too noteworthy. Overall, 4/5 for this place because nothing was bad about it, the OJ and bacon were delicious. The rest was average. Likely won’t return because there are some better places to get breakfast around.
I first fell in love with Simone and her beautiful restaurant when she hosted one of her amazing Greek dinners. All was delicious, but the Pastitsio was by far one of the best that I have had from here to Zakynthos!Brunch was next on our Simone’s bucket list and again WONDERFUL! The crepes were my favorite and the ham and cheese instantly brought me back to late nights and early mornings on the streets of Zante!Hoping to go back to Simone’s this morning; after writing this I am in a food dream!Parking: Great location on Washington Road! Two doors down from a multilevel parking lot!
