Edit: no smoking anymore and a limited menu is back! try the burgers, fries, fishsammie and each of the apps. some of the best bar food in the city. cozy, smokey dipping. great prices, great staff and great chefs. it will quickly become their destination.

Same as it was 40 years ago! Revisited recently and this place really needs a radical cleaning!! Burger was decent, bartender okay. Go to Murray Ave. Cafe.

While visiting from out of town, we stumbled across the Squirrel Hill Cafe and immediately felt welcome thanks to the friendly staff there. Their burger and hand-cut fries were delicious!
