Steel Cactus Shadyside - Pittsburgh

I can't recommend this place at all. The floor was dirty. Your kitchen, by evaluating the waitress, is too small for the number of seats they have, and the service is always slow. I waited about 50 minutes for the worst tacos I've ever eaten. They seem to do a booming business in alcohol, really they are more of a bar than a restaurant.

Food was not close to authentic Mexican, and not good. Service was very slow.

They remodeled the rooftop and it looks great!!! I’ve been here several times and I always enjoy myself

Waitress refused to serve me alcohol even though I’m well over the legal age limit. Took her 40 minutes to refill my water and I asked for napkins twice from 2 different servers and never received them. Queso dip was cold. They were not busy by any means, but somehow it still took us over 2 hours there. Would not recommend.

Cool upstairs setting in Shadyside, food is ok, lively place.
