During my visit, I noticed that although there were three waiters, only one seemed to be actively working. I had to wait for more than 5 minutes to receive the menu. Despite this, I would still consider going again because the quality of the food makes it worth another visit.
I really like this place. It's one of my go-tos lately The food is authentic and always delicious without being pretentious. Service is always friendly and good. If you are looking for something a little beyond the normal Pittsburgh fare, this is a great spot. It's very accessible to an American palate but just different enough to add variety to your dining experience.
This particular Colombian Spot location is our favorite in the city. The food seems to be better compared to the one they have in Oakland. The inside is cozy and nicely decorated. The service is typically kind and prompt. As a Miami, FL native, it's very refreshing to see such a thriving Latin business in Pittsburgh. The food reminds me of home every time we dine here. We've run into the owners a few times and they are just the nicest people. The arepas are really filling and delicious. You have to try the ropa vieja arepa and the mixed platter of meats (bandeja paisa), perfect for sharing and sampling and sharing with a group. Don't forget the aji sauce! We tried making it at home but it's ok the same.
Amazing food. Great people and service. Prices are pretty reasonable. Never had Colombian before this restaurant, now it's a def fave.
Had the Can Can pork chop. Ridiculously good with black beans and rice. Flan for dessert.Huge portion and priced right.Food: 5/5
