Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Pittsburgh

Great place with great smoothies. Good is also pretty good. This would be a 5 star place, this single location, but it is too small to keep up with business, so wait times are long. Everything else about this place, looks, employees, product, are all excellent!

I went there yesterday and am so happy to have Tropical Smoothie as my neighborhood go-to. The Thai Chicken Wrap was delicious and the smoothie was healthy and filling. What a nice and friendly staff and service!

Honestly, it was not a good experience. The shrimp quesadilla had only three tiny shrimp, despite my request for extra shrimp. The avocado bacon sandwich, which I ordered with extra bacon, came with just one slice of bacon. The drinks were overly diluted with ice. I also paid extra for flavored straws but didn't receive any in my bag to try. Additionally, multiple items were missing from my last order. I've given this place several chances, but I've consistently been disappointed with the quality. I would recommend skipping this location.

I've visited this location before and enjoyed a delicious smoothie, but my experience today was quite different. I ordered two smoothies, and they were full of ice and fruit chunks, rather than being smooth at all. On a positive note, I ordered a wrap that was amazing; however, I was really let down by the smoothies, which I usually love.

The smoothies here are incredible! I found this place while heading to Jefferson Hospital. It's super easy to get in and out, and they even have a drive-thru. The prices for the smoothies are quite reasonable, and the staff are very friendly.
