Clear River Tavern - Pittsfield

We were seated in an upstairs room with a view of the tavern and grassy area. However, the tavern was closed during our visit, so we had to find another place to dine. The staff was friendly and the breakfast area was pleasant.

I didn't stay there but my daughter and son in law had their wedding after party there. They helped me offer a very special surprise! So grateful.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance and I am so glad I did! I booked it last minute because it was conveniently located, available, and affordable. We were just passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. I would definitely return here without hesitation! Just before check-in, I received an email with the room code which turned out to be the last four digits of my phone number - such a clever idea that made the check-in process so simple! The room was clean, the linens were incredibly soft, and there was a unique custom lamp in our room. The attention to detail throughout the room was impressive. While we didn't dine in the restaurant, the tavern was lovely and the outdoor area by the beautiful river was perfect for enjoying a drink under the stars. The breakfast in the morning had a nice selection and thoughtful touches. My favorite part was the old phone booth stocked with extra amenities - a nice touch!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The rooms were spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable. During our winter stay, the rooms were kept warm and cozy. The continental breakfast had a wonderful variety of options, perfect for fueling up before a day of activities.

First time I let a review during my stay. Dont need a long review. Everything is PERFECT ! The office welcome us like if we was at home. Bedroom : super clean!! Bed : king size. Place : chill, best for rest. You have a bar close to the hotel so alsoperfect if you want to have a drink or/and eat.
