Bluescreek Farm Meats Market

What a cool place! Found this place on the internet thought it would stop a perfect place and eat on our way back to Columbus to Apple Picking in Marysville. It was really the perfect place! You have a sweet little food area with mainly Ohio produced products, so many amazing gluten-free bakery treats, a café menu to eat some excellent food and of course to take the butcher home some amazingly fresh meat. From the café, our group had the Bluescreek Burger, Plain Jane Burger, Double Comfort Chicken Sandwich. The burgers were amazing and tasted so fresh and our friends also said that the chicken on the chicken sandwich was so good. My husband and I are currently doing a whole 30, which is very restrictive, so not much to eat. This is the first meal I felt comfortable eating with this Plain Jane Burger without rolls and over salad, because I knew that I had good quality meat, no fillers and the only spices some salt and pepper. It tasted incredible. Seriously the first food I've eaten outside our own kitchen in 3 weeks because of our 30 limitations. We were lucky when we sat and eat, Don and his wife Meredith were sitting right next to us. It was so great to talk to them about Bluescreek and the quality of food, the options and Don also told us about the great classes they have. My husband and I will observe some of them in the future. This place is a great find and we will definitely come back. And besides the farm to make good to tables, local Ohio products, gluten-free products, and incredible cuts of meat....what makes it really to a real 5 stars and puts it over the top for me is the kindness and warmth of the family and you can see that they see that all customers are happy. They go out for you and really listen! Thank you. Meredith for your sweet comments, how I left! It was noticed that you all really enjoy people and your work. I could go on and continue on how big other family members were like Cheryl and others helped. As you can see, I can't say enough great things about this place. You'd be crazy not to stop. Now I can't wait to see what meals we have with the incredible meat we brought home beef cheeks, london broil and I didn't mention any sugar bacon!!! 30 compliant! So hard to find!! Thanks again Bluescreek and the perfect visit! We will be back soon!!!

By far the best place to get meat in the area. We're going over an hour to buy from this family. All animals are humanly treated and have a bad day in their lives, which is very important for me for a former vegan. You cannot beat quality, diversity and customer service. I accidentally stopped on my way home from a horse show and am now a customer for life lol. We also visited the wine and bovine class last week, which I highly recommend!! Tons of information and many new cooking inspiration with cuts that I had no idea what to do. You leave the class full of good food and lots of new cooking information!

Great place. The lamb sandwich was the best! Friendly people and great selection. Very recommended!!!

Do yourself a favor and go there! I recommend the meat leaflets, smoked turkey pots and Rindsirky, how to try. The butcher shop is amazing! The freezers make it so easy to have a high-quality dinner if you don't have the time to cook.

Nice place. Stopped in today for a late lunch. Ate Cowboy Biscuits and gravy. Wife had Banana Foster's French toast. Very tasty. Grabbed some DeMassimo's Sauce, bone for the dog, cookies, etc. to go. Young lady working the register and lady behind the meat counter both very nice and helpful. Excellent service and extremely helpful. We will re-visit very soon.
