Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

There is always too much overpriced junk in the store section which detracts from the experience. The food is consistent across most Cracker Barrel restaurants. We like the fried catfish fillets and we were not disappointed that evening. I like the cooked apples, it reminds me of my Grandma. The service we received on this visit was prompt but seemed annoyed by our long visit during Friday dinner service.

Service is rarely an issue for us at CB. And, to be fair, it wasn 't a situation in which we had to raise a fuss or call a manager, it 's those little nagging details that turn a great experience into a meh experience. We had to wait on silverware not once but twice. My steak was not prepared correctly and had to be sent back. The server spilled ice water on my hand and leg refilling my glass. Overall, the food tasted fine, but just taking extra care to make sure the little details don 't get missed can really improve a customer 's experience.

Besides their great food we liked that we were able to spend the night in their parking lot while traveling south.

I ordered the new chicken tenders and the new loaded hash browns and they were both excellent choices.

Wonderful night in the crunchy fass! the place was very busy, but that's because it's the crisp touch! only a 20-minute waiting time. we sat outside in the huge swing chairs and enjoy waiting. I ordered the land fried steak with mais and gravy and a side of cookies with a sweet tee. the food was excellent and I'm coming back again and again?
