Sw's Donut Mill - Plainwell

With the rise in cost, we have obviously also noticed the rise in prices. Which is to be expected. But also with this cost change, also came a change in size and quality. Their chocolate filled Longjohns my daughter used to RAVE about. Now she won't even touch them. They are 1/3 smaller in size. Used to be huge! The icing on the outside is very thin now. And the best part, the chocolate filling, is almost non existent. My daughter wouldn't finish hers, as the filling was hardly even there. Very disappointed that the quality has gone down hill, as the prices have gone up to make up that difference

This is for the Plainwell location. Will never go backMy husband went in and everything was picked over, tried to ask a couple questions and was treated rudely by 2 different employees. He did buy some doughnuts, got them home and they are just NOT good. The frosting is wayyy too sweet, sweeter than normal and I think they need to change their fryer oil, the cake donuts were not right. Or cheaper ingredients are being used.Will never go back.Ever.

The Plainwell Sweetwater 's Donuts is THEE best! Typically, when we 're in Plainwell, it 's to pick up our granddaughter from her friend 's house or we 're going to Grand Rapids, so it is in the afternoon. Typically, we arrive there at an off time, and there might be 1 car or no cars in the lot. The amazing thing is we got fresh donuts! Another thing we find with the Plainwell location is C O N S I S T E N C Y ! ! ! The Sprinkle Road location and the Beckley Road location are not always consistent sometimes the donuts are fresh, and sometimes they 're stale. Sometimes, there is filling in the donut. Sometimes, there 's a dot of filling in the entire donut, and there seems to never be French cruelers (not sure how to spell that). We have always received fresh donuts at the Plainwell location! We have always received donuts that were filled properly/adequately. So the Plainwell location gets the 5 stars! Keep up the superior work, and managers give your workers an adaboy ! Show them or tell them you appreciate them!

Best donut place in Michigan! Hands down. No argument. Lots of variety and fresh hot donuts!
