Beautifully fried with the perfect crunch and their tartar sauce is out of this world. Of course the fish was good, but the shrimp was very, very small and the rice didn't have almost any flavor to it. The hush puppies were very good and the actual vegetables was cooked very well. What they missed out on is fine, but at least they have reallytasty fish to make up for it. Try it out, tastes very, so go for it, just be careful ordering the shrimp so you won't lose money.
Excellent food! We were in town for an event and looking for a Sat night dinner that didn?t have an hour plus wait we were immediately seated. We were very pleased with the food. My husbands salmon was cooked well and he loved the cream sauce! For me, I hate seafood so I went in settling for the grilled chicken. In error, I got the blackened chicken which I?m not a fan but it looked different than what I?ve tried before so I tried it before sending it back?it wasphenomenal so flavorful (lots of kick too)! Waitstaff was friendly too.
This evening was a perfect dinner experience. Jill G is a wonderful server, very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, extremely pleasant to talk with, and almost fervent in her zeal to serve my wife and me. The crab stuffed mushrooms were our appetizer for the night, and the six of them were sufficiently large to where we were already questioning if we could finish our meal through the entree. Each mushroom was slightly larger than a half dollar in diameter, and in addition to the mushrooms themselves there was an incredible amount of shall we say sauce on the plate with them, so much so that after finishing the mushrooms it took us about half of the crackers in the basket provided to finishthat sauce. I had a house salad next, which was a standard and unremarkable combination of lettuce, cabbage, carrot, and a tomato wedge. Everything was extremely springy and fresh, but really that should be expected. What I want to callout here is the dressing, all of their salad dressings are custom made in house. I got to try two of them because I could not decide. The first was all of artichoke Italian dressing. for what it was, it was very good, and all of the flavorscame through strongly, but I only tried it directly and didn 't put it on my salad because it was green olives and not black that it was made with, and I 'm not a fan of green olives outside of a martini. The other dressing was the spicythousand island, and oh my goodness I could probably just drink it from a gravy boat, it was that good. I did try some of my wife 's Caesar salad, and I found it to be only okay though I was delighted that the croutons stayed very crunchyfor quite some time even with the dressing on them, yet even when we first got it they were not so dry that they were rough to consume. For entrees we got the fishmonger ponchartrain and cedar plank salmon. I had already had the former ona previous visit and knew it to be incredible, but I was blown away by the salmon as I 'm not nor
