The atmosphere is good but the attention and food leave a lot to think about. I went with my wife and ordered two sushi rolls that were really normal. A cocktail that I told the waiter named Juan was tasteless and he literally ignored me. We ordered two more rolls in which I specified that they were NOT SPICY and surprise! They were super spicy. I told the waiter and far from understanding the situation he told me ?seriously? That doesn?t sting.? We invited him to try it andhe told me that he no longer felt the spicy taste. ???????? I paid the entire bill without making any complaints to avoid problems and we went dancing. It would have been better to just have beers and dance instead of having dinner.
I have booked a reservation for my birthday. when we had set ourselves, it took a while until our server came to us, but once he came, the service was good. I was under the impression that it would be an experience bc of the mondes new year and it was not much of an experience. even though eating was very good! the portions for each item were disappointing! I started with the rock garnel appetizer that was amazingly delicious! but the part was not worth $25. I ordered the Sunny’s Sushi Roll Chicken roasted rice, my sushi roll was 6 small pieces. (smaller than normal sushi rolls) and chicken roast rice came in a large bowl with less than half of it filled with rice. my friend ordered the huhn teriyaki among the Entree sections as well as a side of steamed rice. the rice came out hard, we had to send him back and order a new one. the huh teriyaki was literally 8 small bites of huh on 1 spits in 2. when my friends and I were finished, we all eat hunger! they would think if they spend $145 in a restaurant, they would at least be full. then to finish everything, the birthday surprise never came on our table.
Outstanding experience as first timer. decor and vibe remind you of a Vegas style restaurant with the colors, sounds and people. it was nice that everyone dressed. excellent people watch! from sushi to suppe to flights, bao dim sum and toro belly. all the meals were excellent. very cheap for most articles. if they are a fan of small plates and tapas style eating, this is their next goal! fyi. don't order the Japanese street maize unless they want to eat it on the bay.
It was amazing! I just wish they would stop the best desserts from the menu like the bananas and the cocoscream with gelato those where the best!
