Panera Bread - Plano

Store use to be one of my favorites for a Panera Bread, but since going cashless, I often cannot put an order into the App, and their order kiosks are the dictionary definition of finicky. I can successfully place an order may 30% of the time, usually because of the card readers. I hate to say it, but this store has fallen off, severely.

For some reason this panera doesn't give you the option to dine in when ordering your food at the kiosk. They have the tables and everything but they gave me my order to go. I ended up eating there anyways, but other paneras give you plates and silverware when you dine in. Food still was good.

Wayyyyyyy overpriced for what you get!A half a tuna fish salad sandwich, a bowl of soup (that much is not a full bowl), a little carton of milk and a pastry (on sale) was over $18.00 without tip! Since when did picking up a half sandwich and soup and not much else cost EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! Plus tip for just fixing it for carryout. Yikes!!Quality of the food is good, though. But, I would expect it to be for that price...Parking: Just not a lot of parking spaces for Panera. I 'm sure it 's usually just enough, but if I was meeting about 4-5 people at a usual meal time, I would worry about parking being available close to Panera.

March 1, 2024 This location has no traditional registers and has a slightly different layout and design from other locations. I picked up my order and was greeted and thanked.Not long after I returned because another location messed up my wife’s order. So I came back and this location made me a Hot and Fresh Blueberry Muffin for my pregnant ?? wife. She had been in tears when she realized her order from the other Panera had a Raspberry muffin instead of the Blueberry .When I took this hot and fresh muffin to my wife she thanked me and said you didn’t have to do this and then I was granted a passionate kiss. ?Thank y’all for helping me brighten the day for my lovely and pregnant ?? wife. Hope y’all have an awesome 2024!!

Stood for 5 minutes at the counter with no one making eye contact. Can’t order in store. No customer service.
