Shawarma - Plano

Just had my first meal here (Opening Day) and it was fantastic! I don 't know what you guys are doing to the Lamb and Chicken Shawarma meat, but don 't stop. It was tender, juicy and the flavor was absolutely addictive! Everybody at the counter was friendly and it was fun watching you prepare my Lamb Shawarma bowl with lots and lots of fresh ingredients. My wife had the Lamb Shawarma and she said it tasted like a next level gyro and she is now obsessed. Keep up the great work. We will be back often!

If only there were a way to give zero stars. The staff were extremely disengaged, and the shawarmas were completely inauthentic. I ordered a shawarma wrap, but what I received was just a random pita sandwich that bore no resemblance to a shawarma. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this place at all.

I ordered the lamb and beef shawarma, but the sauce was too watery, and there were far more pickles than meat. Next time, I'll skip Shawarma Bar and choose a different restaurant.

This restaurant was managed better when the owner was more involved. I've consistently had negative experiences with the same group of employees. Since I’m allergic to radishes, I requested lettuce instead for my wrap, but they told me I wasn't "allowed" to have lettuce on it. Yes, that’s right—I couldn’t get lettuce on my wrap! When I asked for light tomatoes and extra onions, they started laughing among themselves and acted like it was a big deal. The customer service was terrible. I've encountered this same group of employees three times now, and they seem to refuse to provide even basic service. I've never been to a restaurant that wouldn’t let you customize your toppings. It’s ridiculous.

My husband and I went for the first time to Legacy Hall today. My husband got chicken and waffles from The Press waffle. He ordered it online and it was done and delicious in like 5 minutes. I ordered a falafel bowl from Shawarma and it was 15 minutes, my husband was almost finished and I could see people walking up and getting food just on the spot and mine showed not ready. I went over and said, ?hey, why is this taking so long.?Both people who worked there instantly became really hostile towards me. When they were the ones who dropped the ball and never let me know the order had been completed. Lots of great options at Legacy Hall. I will happily choose one of those in the future. I should have realized there was a reason they were slow compared to the other restaurant around them. Food was a 4 but service was just terrible.
