Tai Zong Sichuan Cuisine - Plano

We?ve been here several times before and each time, we left decent amount of tips, even though the service was not that good. However we were really upset about something happened this noon. We came there for lunch and no one ever came after servicing uswater. We had to manually find someone to take our order. Also during the lunchtime, no one came to service and we had to findwater by ourselves many times. It also took forever for us to get our check, so we deliberately left low tips just to let themknow that we were upset about the service. However, one of the server came and humiliated us in the public, saying that we weretoo poor to pay the tips. Even though we explained our reasons, they still treated us very badly. We were very disappointed andif that?s the principles they hold, I would never recommend this place, cuz they don?t have the basic standards for hosting arestaurant.

1) Food came out too slow, there were only 3 tables sat when we came in. 40 minute wait. 2) Food quality is below par, other Sichuanese restaurants are much tastier and cheaper. 3) Very expensive, especially for sub-par food. Portions are tiny. Ordered4 entrees for 3 people and we weren't full. Normally 1 entree per person is plenty and we leave with a lot of leftovers. 4)Service was extremely slow despite not being busy. The people that gave this place 5 stars have never eaten Sichuanese foodbefore.

Not quite sure why this place is mixed with 5 stars and 1 stars... The food was decent, pretty authentic and the service was also good. A little bit spicy for everything but that's what Szechwan cuisine for right?

Had two great dishes. Very spicy as expected for the Sichuan chicken and the pickeled fish was not sure spicy but very nicely seasoned

The real deal Sichuan food and a great price! The food was well seasoned and spicy but it was not overkill. The only issue I had was chosing what to eat the choices are amazing
