Thai Jasmine Thai cuisine - Plano

The food at this restaurant is decent overall, but a bit lacking in flavor with the exception of the delicious yellow curry with chicken. The portions are on the smaller side. The air conditioning did not seem to be working effectively, but there were ceiling fans and a portable fan at the bar. The walkway to the bathroom is cluttered with restaurant supplies, which is unappealing. Additionally, the bathrooms are not up to standard. Because of these non-food related issues, I unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant.

I have never been nearly this outraged at a restaurant before. We ordered a chicken with mild spice soup for an severely injured relative and alongside ordered shrimp spicy soup for ourselves. I repeated the order several times. We went to the grocery to give them some extra time since they seemed busy. We received the food and it was not labeled... Cause shellfish/spice allergies were not a thing right? I asked her how we would know which to give them if it's not labeled and she brought a spoon and started rummaging for if it was chicken or shrimp on the counter then she labeled it and we left. We went to the patient and he started coughing from the spice... Because guess what??? It was STILL labeled wrong. Are you f'in kidding me??? On top of this both the chicken and shrimp were equally spiced. If this was not a muslim owned restaurant I would've reported this for attempt at poisoning. This was not even the staff's fault. This is all the countless halal restaurant managers being greedy and underpaying employees and hiring less than adequate staff. One person was running around serving and getting orders from a full restaurant. I assume the kitchen had one person too. May Allah show you no mercy for your greed. No matter how bad a halal restaurant got, I have never given them a less than 3 stars. They have crossed far far beyond the line.

I really enjoy the Thai food at this restaurant, but I suggest avoiding the Jungle Curry as it's not worth ordering.

Unfortunately the food was mediocre. The service was excellent.

I ordered Thai Jasmine through UberEats, and my food came fast and fresh. I ordered the curry fried rice with chicken, pad see ew with chicken, and pad thai with tofu. The fried rice was really tasty and came in a good-sized portion. Both the pad see ew and pad thai lacked a little flavor. I feel like the sauces used could've been more seasoned, and both dishes could've used more sauce altogether. I also wish the pad thai came with cilantro and not just the lime. Other than that, it's good solid thai food.
