Borincuba - Plantation

I fell in love with the dish at Old Saint John – the chicken was cooked to perfection. The light sangria was delightful, and I can't get enough of the flank steak with coconut and cheese. I can't wait to return soon!

I haven't tried carrucho (conch) anywhere else like I did at this restaurant. Success Borincuba!

This is no longer called Cafe Borinquen. It is now Borin Cuba, a newly opened Cuban and Puerto Rican restaurant. My only regret is that I did not photograph the Crea La Mofongo. The Shrimp Mofongo was excellent and its presentation beautiful. It was served with a choice of two sides. I had the Tostones and the Pigeon Pea Rice. My husband selected the Red Beans and White Rice. The portions were large and hot, fresh bread was served while we waited for our entrees. We topped it off with Flan de Coco and Tembleque desserts. Everything was excellent. The owner and wait staff welcomed us and checked on us several times during our meal. On a scale of one to five stars, they exceeded every standard and in my opinion deserved ten stars. We will definitely return!

This place was absolutely AMAZING! The food was phenomenal and it was very nice of the chef to step out of the kitchen and meet us when he heard we too were all the same nationality and not from FL. From the moment we stepped in until we stepped out it was outstanding! I recommend this restaurant to all those staying in the area...

This restaurant is truly AMAZING! Our server was incredible, managing our large and lively group of nine with ease. We all ordered the main platter, and I can confidently say it was the best dish I've ever had at any restaurant in Broward County—the flavors were spot on. It brought back fond memories of my great grandmother's cooking, and even my great grandfather, who is 93 and her husband, ate like we hadn't seen in years. To top it off, we enjoyed some coconut flan for dessert. I've tried many flans before, but none have been as creamy and flavorful as this one. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for such a wonderful experience that brought back memories of the past, something we rarely get to do together as a family.
