But surely don't miss a chance to taste the kitchen. The woman who worked there was exceptional and let us try some things for free. The herring pate (like a deep fried empanada) was really good. The spicy sauce and the Gravy were also great! I wish this place would be closer to where I live as if I were going to be regular.
Great food! If you like from Port au Prince(Haiti) like moi and you enjoy Fritay Haitian style. This is the place to go. I love her chicken wings, but everything else is very tasty. The price is also very affordable.
Your food is really good. I usually get fried chicken and fried plantain with pikliz. I'm picky about my food. I live in East Hollywood and drive all the way to Opa-Locka to buy her food. The fried chicken is not too light brown, but also not burned. The Plantains are not soggy, but really pressed flat. The piclic is as if I remember it the day - without additional ingredients. What I am most impressed is the worting of the meat. It tastes very clean, and it contained no visible feathers.
@Chris Harris did you come to this conclusion before or after you spit on the window? From whom she belongs. You come to eat there all the time and love the food, that's what you told me TODAY. People are amazing. Anyway, this place makes amazing AUTHENIC Haitian cuisine.
Authentic Haitian food. Great food, above average customer service, and most importantly excellent prices.
