La Cabana - Platte City

La Cabana is located in Platte City, right across from the courthouse on the downtown square. They serve incredible authentic Mexican cuisine, with the best salsa and food on this side of the river. Additionally, they offer a wide selection of top-quality sodas imported directly from Mexico. I tried the pollo asada, which was the special on Wednesday, and it was one of the best dishes I've had in the Kansas City area. I was too eager to dig in to take any pictures! I will definitely return for this delicious food; it's absolutely worth the trip!

The food is excellent in the small town of Platt City. There are plenty of vegetarian options available. You can find vegetarian combos, and many items on the main menu are also suited for vegetarians.

A hidden gem! At first glance, this place may seem unassuming, but the owners, who are brothers, bring a charming old-school approach to their cooking. The authentic Mexican food is delicious, and they even serve Mexican Coca-Cola!

Great service! Felt super welcoming. Waitress did amazing with our large party including several children. Food was delicious and hot. Drinks were cold and delicious. It was wonderful! 10/10 would eat there again!
