The best one is their coconut carimp! 8 large garnels covered with cocose and served with rice and salat is a special meal. I love it! a healthy portion of wine is beneficial. the personal is friendly and attentive! Please note: the restaurant closes at 7 or 7:30 o'clock
Delicius eating and excellent attention no matter what they want, seafood or fish here is excellent! I would come back every time I visit playa del carmen
We ate at la sirenita several times during our stay in playa del carmen. it was a simple 5 minute walk from our apartment. la sirenita is a family-run restaurant with all family members who contribute to the smooth running of the site. they are all extreme. friendly, helpful and also speak English. the meals are excellent! we had to start a garnel choke and the smallest gave the 4 of us a nice one. we tried the filets (dresses and plentiful eating, garneling, chile relleno (my favorite)! and tacos. everything was excellent, served in good time and cheap. the restaurant closes early (7:30 o'clock, so arrive in time is one must. oh yes. the wee and the beer were very tasty and cheap also!
This authentic restaurant is located in a neighboring place and serves fresh tasty eating with fast efficient service. 8 of us were served by a friendly helpful waiter. great prices. mermaid decor. many of us had the filled cheese and garnel pepper and others had fish or bark meat. Vegetable cabbage. everyone was very happy with his meal and service. a hidden gem.
The condo we rented has a binder of restaurants ,beaches , stores to visit while in the area. One night we were feeling like seafood so we checked this place out, a little off the beaten path, it was not crowded which was nice, some...of the tables are aquariums with fish which our 3 year old loved, there was lots of room for our stroller. we ordered a fish filet which came with rice and salad, a shrimp dish and a mexican favorite (forget the name), the portions were large and it was all tasty! The margarita was really good too. Only downfall was the menu was in spanish so we needed some help deciding on items, other than that it was a great experience !
