At the early break a few of us girls went to playa del carmen, we noticed this petty restaurant all the way. the restaurant is quite small with 4 chairs on both sides, super sweet. we had the pleasure of meeting the owner denise, who was blurred with their English and of course Spanish. she gave her own view of the menu and helped me order. we all got the tlayudas she told us that this recipe came from her hometown (she told us, but I forgot it) amazing. they were so delicious and it was perfect because we wanted all the girls and ethnic meal of the resort. absolutely perfect. she was so happy to meet and tell us that the sauces were made home by her grandmother. I brought her soße myself to return to the states. she was very friendly and super helpful. If I'm ever back in mexiko, I'd visit not only because of the food, but also because she made us feel at home!
