The Gilded Iguana

Beautiful Hotel and Restaurant. We visited the restaurant several times during our visit and everything we ordered was nothing short of perfection. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner you will not be disappointed with the food selection and exceptional service. The BEST calamari appetizer I've ever had, the eggplant roll ups are amazing, and also the steak filet dinner was unreal. We had such a blast listening the live music they offer on Tuesday nights, dancing on the lawn under the beautiful malinche trees. The owners and staff are awesome such wonderful, friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!! You can thank me later ; Thanks to all at the Gilded Iguana for the incredible experience!

Stunning renovation, especially in keeping details of the original restaurant space we all love so much!! Finally a local surf hotel that really gets it and has a vested interest in doing things right in a fully legal, sustainable way, without cutting any corners. I wish I could say the same about every other business and big hotel in town but that would be a lie. Everything I've tried so far at the restaurant has been fresh and super tasty. The rooms are gorgeous and the pool area is the nicest one in town! Great location, walking distance from the north entrance, and great value. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to vacation in Nosara.
